Microgaming has just released a real 3D slot game. This would not be a slot game with 3D graphics. It would be like the experience of watching 3D movies in theatres or on television using special eyewear. The suspense and the wait are over. The 3D slot game, Sterling Silver, will go live at Microgaming online casinos early in June 2011.

Jackpot City online casino is one of the first to announce this new slot game. The Jackpot City news release refers to this innovative slot game as 3D Stereo Slot to differentiate it from the normal 3D online slots. It describes the game as having "super-realistic and definitely stand-out graphics". The press release adds, "We'll provide the eyewear you'll need to thoroughly enjoy this innovative way of creating in-game ambience, so get ready to enjoy the truly outstanding visuals of silver ingots and coins."

Sterling Silver is not a new title as such at Microgaming online casinos. The regular version is in fact quite popular and 3D Sterling Silver will build up on that. The Sterling Silver logo does a fantastic job as the wild symbol. It appears stacked on the central reel and as a result creates many more winning combinations. It also acts as a multiplier. The multiplier is not fixed but may take a random value from 2x to 10x. The scatter symbol is equally attractive. Three such symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4 award 10 times the total bet and also 15 free spins with doubled payouts. Players also have the option of initiating the Microgaming gamble game after any payout. This game enables players to try and double or quadruple their payouts by guessing the color or the suit of the next card.
